Currently reading an article on “child–pavement entanglements” and questioning what I’m doing with my life.
One time, when I was young, I had a bad fall from my skateboard. Boom! Child-pavement entanglement.
One time my little sister banged her forehead open on some playground equipment and got stitches and then a week later tripped again and banged it open on the sidewalk. Boom! Child-pavement entanglement x2.

The pavement that constantly abused me when I was trying to learn how to ride a bike (which I still don’t ride because falling sucks) stopped at the house I grew up in: child-pavement end-tanglement.
